Most of the times when it comes to losing weight we make our way to change the way we are taking in our meals. So, below are 10 tips to help you change your way of eating.

 

1. Slow chewing

 

While we chew our food, we don’t realize how fast we tend to eat. Most of the time we eat fast and sooner or later this gets in to our habit. When we get opportunity to have our meal leisurely, give it time. When we chew slowly our digestive process gets time to move precisely. This would give your savor for your food and you would stop eating when you feel tired of eating.

 

2. color me hungry

 

Do you have a slightest idea that some colors have positive influence over appetite? Say if you eat from red plate you would eat more then if you had eaten from black plate. Your kitchen’s color can influence your appetite too. If you have your kitchen colored red, orange and yellow then they may have affect to increase your appetite. So have your kitchen colored in to cooler colors like light blue or mint green.

 

3. Get off your stress before having your dinner.

 

Before you settle down to have your dinner, the suggestion is to relax with deep breathing or you can opt for listening to some soothing music number. As you have your self relaxed you would be doing a mere favor to yourself.

 

4. take in some water:

 

Don’t take soda rather take in some water before you go having your dinner. This would make you eat less.

 

5. clear the area:

 

When you are done with eating immediately leave the room. Don’t worry about dishes they can wait. When you find yourself relaxed out of taking meal, do know you are now free to go picking up dishes.

 

6. concentrate over eating:

 

Make sure you are not dividing yourself while having dinner. This means avoid reading book or watching T.V. this would help you concentrate over portion control.

 

7. keep food where it needs to be:

 

Keep your food restricted to dinning table and kitchen. Don’t take them some where like T.V lounge or bedroom. This would help your control calories.

 

8: downsize your dishes:

 

Stop using huge plates. Small plates can do well to you. You would place less food and thus eat less.

 

9: starters:

 

Get in to habit for taking in broth, soup or salad as starters. This would keep you from over eating.

 

10: don’t think about second serving

 

No matter how hungry you are, take care for not having your self served with seconds. If you are in habit for taking two pieces of bread then it is better you place one in your plate. When you would have to move to get it you would probably try going with out it.
